So I bought a bike thinking I could rig up a ramp myself to unload it from my truck once I got home. Turns out I cant (I tried) and I wont (again). I already almost embarrassed myself trying to unload it and its not worth it. So, if you're local, kind and willing to let me borrow your ramp, I'll repay you. I havent been in a bind like this since my garage door assist springs broke and locked me in the house lol. Im in McDonough. This is in stupid stuff because Im feeling kinda stupid... Im not interested in buying a ramp as I have no plans to transport the bike after I initially unload it.

You can drive your truck to a motorcycle shop and use their ramps, ride the motorcycle home and get a ride back to your truck...

Well, I would but Im not quite there yet. I jumped on purchasing the bike because it was a killer deal and Im in the process of getting my license. Still need to get insurance too (just got the bike Wed).

When I was Poor, uh still am I used a hill...Back up to it or a ditch with the tail gate down and load her up..

That was my plan all along. I have a little hill in my backyard but I cant get the truck to sit level and orient everything like I would feel comfortable with.

Plus Im nervous doing it by myself having never operated a bike. I know all the controls but its far from second nature. I dont need the truck right away. I just need to get the bike out at some point.

I just talked with a biker buddy who thinks he can come for a visit and give me a hand. Its just terribly awkward to drive backwards on a motorcycle going downhill when you've never even ridden forward before lol. Ive found a better spot to level up my boards to the truck too.
