There is a small element to truth to each, meaning that covid does exist and that people die from it, and opiates are real and people die from overdosing on them too.

The rest: what we see on the news, cdc resources, social media, real life Karen's- is extreme overreaction due to extreme overexaggeration. Fudged numbers, sensational headlines, and job scared medical professionals all work in tandem to peddle this. The human race just soaks it up as fact because it is presented as fact.

This isn't a research paper, it's a reminder to think. I'm probably preaching half to the choir and half to soy boys wanting me to have my mandatory covid vaccine, but I'm hoping there are a few on here that just need a little nudge. Just think things through. Why is all this being pushed so unnaturally hard and surrounded by such blatant propaganda?

In before cousin's friend's dog's walker Billy Bob died from covid or prescription pills. I'm sorry if you know someone in either of those scenarios- that is the exception not the rule.

The hard push comes from the global elitists trying to create a scared misinformed yet willingly dependent on govt class of people. They need this class of people to readily accept the great reset. Covid is just another layer of control.

Consider the last 20 years of sci-fi and how prophetic some franchises were. The Matrix movies... Levels of authoritarian control and the willingness to live, even subconsciously, with those controls. The BSG re-imagining... The danger of integrated computer systems and how AI will shape humanity's future (also, in the Matrix franchise.) In both of those series, we see the elitist minority exerting control of the majority using the best technology that provides the easiest quickest means to the end. Slavery is slavery by any name.

Look to China as to where we are headed in the West. Elitists controlled media, social credit systems, almost total dependency of govt for survival, squashing the freedom of religion especially the ability to meet in person, allowing anarchists to roam free unpunished to destabilize law and order as part of the plan... The list goes on and on. It is not about democrats or Republicans any more. It boils down to levels of control...

I agree . Global elite ,big tech and communist super powers want to see us Americans fall on our face in fear and cower .
With the US crippled or gone nobody stands in the gap against their plans !

When I read the OP all I could think of was....

I am a veteran of the War on Covid. Wounded in combat against the virus. It's real, very real and horrible.

No one has the right to live free of restrictions, run a business, earn a living, if it means that others, like me, have to suffer from the effects of the virus! Nothing you think you are entitled to is worth the suffering I endured.

I am disabled now but thankfully I have a good attorney to file my SSI disability claim.

I had Covid but beat it! I think myself and others who've had the illness due to other Americans' insufferable need for freedom should ALL be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom!

The psychological effects of having a very mild headache for two days and losing my sense of smell FOR A FREAKING WEEK! are lingering and will likely stay with me for the rest of my life! Don't even get me started on the one time I think I had to blow my nose! I mean have you ever made an outstanding bolognese sauce but then couldn't smell the garlic? I was traumatized. I could only force myself to eat two helpings!

This madness has to stop! All restaurants should be closed! All business suspended! People should remain indoors and everyone stay in their own room, and keep a mask on! (I even wear one in the shower, can't be too safe)
