Multiple pit bulls living together

Thats not a pit thing... thats a dog thing.

There will always be a push for dominance between two dominant personalities...

if you can find a submissive and a dominant you will have 'fewer' issues.

At one point we had 3 males dogs and the fights got ridiculous, but the parents didn't have the heart to split them. Wife had 2 female dogs and the fights were bad. Together we have a male and a female and we have never had a problem. They were all different breeds.

i got one as a puppy, then a year later rescued the other one, both are great together, both are crate trained. Don't rag on me too much for the bandanas, fresh from the grommers.

the blue one, she is about to be four yrs old in sept. unfortnately i got her off of craigslist, i guess she's lucky she ended up with me(rescue's from now on), the other one came from dekalb animal control, was going to be put down the next day if i didn't take him. Brown one, he is alittle crazy, definately abused, trying to socialize him the best i can, long process, but i can handle him. greatest dogs ever, will always have one or two. here they are with my brothers rott

Not a scientific observation, but my 4yr old female pit never liked being in competition for attention with our other dog and she acted out to let us know this. After we had to put the other dog down for unrelated reasons, the pit started behaving about 100% better. YMMV.

That said, if it saves another pit from the needle, it's probably worth the hassle.
