I've seen several folks buying a firearm from a FFL Dealer, fill out the paperwork without a WCL. then the dealer calls in for a background check, can't get through or they tell the customer that it has been put on hold, come back in so many days if we don't call you first. That's cause enough for me to have a WCL and walk out that day with the gun I have bought.
I don't mind at all showing my permit to anyone I have bought from. I do understand some folks point to ask for a BOS. I bought several from an older Gentleman that ask me if I would do a BOS for him for his satisfaction, I said no problem. I've had some folks get mad because I ask to see a WCL up front before a meet, that's my call and like it or not, if I don't know you or know folks you have dealt with, then I don't need you. Guess what that's me, take this for what it's worth, I answer for me and nobody else. you do what you want to do, but don't bitch or whine about the other man.
