Heck, I still have mine and haven't even been a resident for almost 3 years.Something to think about: A GA WCL is good for 5 years. A felony is anything that could get you a sentence of 1 year or more. Do they take your WCL away from you when convicted? I doubt they give it any thought. Theoretically at least, you could commit a felony, do your time and still have your WCL when you get out. The state may revoke it but I doubt they come and get it from you. Just a thought. Not to mention that for a small fee, there is a guy who will make one up for you along with a DL and SS card.
I actually know of an individual who got denied on his NICS check and a week later received his GA WCL in the mail. Wanted to know if he could still come buy the gun he got denied for. I told him I would have to pass.
