Muzzle Device Suggestions...?

What can are you waiting on/going to purchase? Buy the prescribed muzzle break and don't think too much into other options as they won't work with your can and you'll just drop another $80+ down the road to but the proper brake/FH.
Not sure yet.. And not sure when I will get one. That is why I am thinking it might be worth getting a decent one in the mean time. Expensive hobby

Expensive hobby for sure. I like the Silencerco brake. The Ferfrans CQB worked well and has some sort of concussion-lessening attachment you can screw on. Never played with that portion of it as it didn't come with it, but I like the idea on an SBR length barrel

Nothing aside from a suppressor is going to reduce noise/flash/concussion from your short barreled setup. You can direct it away from you... but it's still there.

I personally am a big fan or short barrels... I think 16-18" is for competition guns only... anything else gets 10-14.5 and it also gets a suppressor.

If you're not willing to go suppressor... honestly... I would get back to a 16" gun.

Good luck with your decision!

If you go with a AAC suppressor the blastout goes over the flash hider/ brake what ever you decide to use. Pretty cool since you can shoot the brake without the suppressor without it being so bad.

Again.. doesn't reduce it... directs it forward.

For flash and concussion on the shooter... sure. but 165dB is 165dB... no matter how you slice it. Still unpleasant.

And the concussion is the main issue. There is no comparison between the two. A brake on an SBR (especially the shorter ones) will rattle your teeth, and it can be annoying as hell to those around you. A flash hider is tolerable.
