Muzzleloader Tips?

I like to pre-measure blackpowder into plastic tubes before I take my muzzleloader to the range.

What tips or tricks do you use to make range time more fun?

My number 1 black powder tip/trick is to always and I mean ALWAYS have a great time shooting other peoples black powder guns so I can avoid any and all clean up.......

Bring rubber gloves if you dont have access to running water.

yep, but i do like it because it's so easy to clean up.

I'm actually pretty new to all this so i usually load one pack of tubes with Goex powder and another with Triple 7. Been comparing them to see which I like better.

Goex or any real black powder stinks mo betta.

I've found it to be more critical to clean up with artificials than BP. But, I always clean mine immediately after firing as they cost too much damned money to leave to rust.

I ran out of FFFg for my BP rifle recently. I used the little ziploc snack bags from WalMart for transport. I would weigh out the charge on my RCBS scale and pour into bags. On the line I would tear the corner off the bag and pour it down the bore. Easy as that.
