My fathers words after death.

Guys I just want to say thank you for the many blessings and kind words y’all have shared with me.. I never thought I would get this kind of reaction. I love my ODT family. I hope each and every one of you stays blessed.

Later that next morning, I shared this dream with my wife and mother. Surprised and confused- because my wife and I were not trying to have a baby. We actually had lost our first baby in the first trimester, so the thought of having another child was a touchy subject still. My mother and wife, felt it possibly my brother who was having the child. A phone call was later made to him… and he shared a very similar response to the one I gave. “My wife and I are not trying.”….
We later had a memorial for my father on 10/12/2020, which marked 30 years my parents would have been married…On our way to the memorial, my wife shared that she was feeling rather sick, so I stopped and got a pregnancy test..well, 9 months later… my son was born. Hayden Christopher. (Named after my father). To add to this story, my brother also found out the same day, that his wife was also pregnant with a baby girl.
To end this story I just wanted to share some of the lessons and feelings of losing my father… to those who have lost your father, you know the pain and emptiness it creates in your life.. my dad was my hero. Even though my father is passed on, I feel his presence everyday. He still guides me and Parents me. That part will never change. Only now, I can’t get away with things behind his back. Lol, he sees everything. I wanted to share some photos of my baby boy. He’s my world. RIP dad, I know you’re watching over us.

Guys I wanted to add this.. I was showing this post to my mother and she said “I like your username slycooper0203… I responded to my mom and said yes 0203 is from my anniversary Feb 3… and my mom smiled and said.. yes but your son was also born at 0203… y’all I can’t make this up. I have had this ODT account for almost a year now.. how is it possible my ODT name is the same time that my son was born, and anniversary date?
 
My only regret up to this point is not being able to come to a deal on the Luger you were selling. Purely my fault because of my lack of education on the gun. It's not the loss of a chance to own a Luger, it's the fact I haven't had the chance to meet the genuinely good person selling it.

2020 was very difficult. I lost two grandparents a week apart, a cousin, an aunt and my dog I had since a pup. Heavy year for sure. Your dad will continue to touch and bless your family's lives. Just like many I'm sure he wasn't afraid to die, just afraid of not existing and keeping his memory alive will have him smiling down while he watches over you.

Thank you for the very kind and heart felt message. No worries on the Luger, I’m sure we will meet at some point. I’m always finding and trading unique items / pieces of history. I lean more towards collector pieces and rare items, which is why I only have 11 feedback score. Lol
