The only thing I don't love about it is the eotech. I tried a Burris fastfire.....apparently I have astigmatism. I'm good with some of the Trijicon RMRs, but of course only the ones with the small MOA dot and those are $600....I snagged the eotech used locally for way less and love the sight picture.......it's just so dang big...

Looks good! Ar's are an expensive habit.

I've owned a couple AR pistols and my SBR and I like shooting the SBR 100% more.

WOOHOO!!! the Levang came in the mail today!....just mocked up for now, I'm gonna go through and make sure all torque is in spec tonight or tomorrow and do an initial lube job.

So, the levang brings the barrel length to about 1" behind the free float I have on there....anyone with build experience think this will be an issue? The MBUS and AFG are mounted just behind the levang, but I'm wondering if that inch will be enough for the rails to get really heated....

I think you will be ok. I would definitely put a hand stop on that thing to keep yourself from putting your hand too far forward.

the AFG has a bit of a hand stop, and the stop is considerably behind the exit point, but I think I am going to pick up the magpul side mount hand stop.... guess I'll just wing it and see how it goes at the range

Well, I decided to cut down the free float and, today, I finally got it to the range.
Freaking perfect function for the 100rds I put through today! I am stoked!
The fireball that comes out the the linear compensator is pretty freaking impressive as well.

You need to replace that EOTech with something better and sell me the EOTech for $50.
