My "WalMart can kiss my ass" thread

Walmart's entire inventory is all completed electronically so their employees have no idea what is coming in until it shows up at the door. My local one put out 9mm, 270 and 45 last week and the guy had no idea it was coming. As soon as he put it out it was gone. My local store has put a 3 box limit on ammo so everyone gets a chance.

Welcome to my official "WalMart can kiss my ass" thread.Todays topic: Customer Service aka "The dying Art".So this fine morning at the local WalMart, meeting with the usual group of hopefuls an assitant manager strolls over and asks us what we need. We ask if there's any new ammo since the case is barren and dusty as usual. She tells us no, it would already be in the case. Then she explains the change in policy. From now on all ammo will come to the floor as soon as it comes off the truck. Could be any time between 6 PM and midnight. And it will be available for sale whenever it does. One of us asks if that means up till 10 and she says no till midnight. SO we have to point out the Ammo Sales 7AM-10PM sign to her(she had no idea). We ask why and she tells us her poor lilk associates are getting harrassed about selling ammo at 7AM. Well, ain't life a *****. They are getting harrassed to do their god damn job! We mean ass customers are too much work for them. I've already written the home office and as soon as the phone line opens at 7 CST I'm calling. This crap is pissing me off.But maybe it's just me. I mean we gun owners are such a burden on civilized society we should understna dthat we are all second class citizens just annoying everyone else...right?

Sorry Dawg,We are usually on the same page, but don't agree on this one. Wal Mart is a private business that can set/change its own policy as it see's fit as it needs to, too best serve their customers. (Or what they believe best serves their customers). I am sure they have had many complaints from customers that cannot shop the limited hours that you find convenient.

Seems to me that you are contributing to the overall problem. As soon as people calm down and let ammo sit on the shelf a few days and allow inventory to catch up, you won't feel the need to stalk the ammo counter.

Man,
I used to love going to Wally Mart with the wife - heck i would even drive her - part of the deal with her was i could buy a few boxes of ammo - well worth the hour or so in that place and it made her happy.
Now I hate going to Wally Mart - still got the same deal with the wife but no ammo for me. She is still happy and I am still driving her.

I used to love going to Wally Mart with the wife - heck i would even drive her - part of the deal with her was i could buy Star Wars toys - well worth the hour or so in that place and it made her happy.
Now I hate going to Wally Mart - no longer marriad to her, new fiance' lets me spend as I like too but I not longer collect because Hasbro and Lucas has figured out that us "super-collectors" will buy the same toy over and over on different cards. I sold off all my Star Wars toys produced after the re-releases for pennys on the dollar and concentrate my collection on vintage items only. Although sometimes I do walk the isle just to check out the new toys...LOL

well good, that means everyone may have a chance to get some cheap ammo if your lucky enough to be there at the right time. i'll ck with my walltworld and see if they changed the policy also. had'nt been but a few days ago and i was told if it came in they could'nt sell til 7 am

I don't know, maybe its just me but I like the fact that they are putting it out at random times now. That way the same people aren't the ones always buying it. Gives everyone an equal shot at it. But that's just me

I didn't know that...but I think it is great... I still haven't hit the right time or store yet....
