The kid and I usually kill between 125 and 150 a year. Looked like we weren't going to reach that because of the massive acorn crop but things are looking up. We're in the mid-80's now and got alot of season left. In the past 4.5 seasons our total is right at 630, and 90% of those came off the same little 60ac. bottom lined with pecan orchards. It's what we do.

Gonna put a few more in the freezer now, haven't saved but about a dozen or sofor ourselfs. We've given most of our kills to the farm hands, they've been more than appreciative about them too.

Thanks, we usually kill a dozen or so a year. Here's a few the kid killed one morning 2 years ago, good showing of the array of colors we get around here.

Couple of the ones we've had mounted.....

The one with the open mouth has a pecan wedged in it now.
