After a rain it is probably just ground water. Most of the time a leaking septic system will show an unusually green patch from all the extra nutrients it is getting.

Mystery fluid coming out of the ground.

Looks like septic it will have a dark color and a strong odor
Had (have) something similar with the neighbors leach field. How green is it on the other side of the fence?
I used to know a few places in Paulding where springs had oil and water flowing. I read an article that there was not enough oil in the county to drill.
Looks like a good place for a builders bury pit. How old is the home?
All great suggestions. This neighborhood is a few years old..like maybe 3-4.
The house next to me was the first built in the neighborhood, sweet old Ms Mary. She lives alone and her son comes to help her out. She DOES have a sprinkler system, right on top of the hill. I have this damned hill the whole left side of my property line shared with hers. It was always wet until I saw her son digging on some areas and must have fixed them.
For some reason it comes out here. But why slicky looking???
It has no smell, I ain’t touching it, and yes may def be a bury pit. But it looks like the hill was cut out for my lot.
Maybe I’ll ask the county some questions. And stir the fn pot because my builder (company) hasn’t returned my calls..go figure.

Called county health dept. An inspector is coming to meet me onsite at 4pm tomorrow, so we shall see. Also, she sent me the septic drawing for that property next to me so I’m waiting on that.
