The list goes on, of things that the media hyped and scared the crap out of people, predicted calamity, etc...

A few thousand people, mostly elderly and people already sick, have died... In the US alone, the Flu has already killed like 19,000 people, this year. That's 2 months.

It's not good to get it and we do need to take steps, get vaccines, all that stuff... but the media has people in a panic like mass extinction event is coming and it's just not gonna be that... The 2% mortality rate is going to come down, as they get a handle on the actual number of people who have caught it. When they find that that the number of cases is much higher, because thousands or even millions of people just didn't show symptoms, or they were mild and never got tested... then dividing the number of deaths into that much greater number, will have the mortality rate plummet.

People with very poor immune systems are the ones primarily at risk. It can lead to pneumonia, just like the flu, and that's bad for some people...

It never hurts to take precautions, but the alarm over Coronavirus is a bit out of whack... For scale, the regular Flu kills 250k people a year on a good year... on a bad year, well over half a MILLION people globally...

I don't think many americans would wear a mask if they had one. I was taking a poll of people I know and they said the CDC said it didn't help much unless you was sick, NOT to wear one.
