Unless you are elderly and have COPD or some other serious condition, you really don't have to worry about Coronavirus... Over the next year or two, most of us are going to get it. It's gonna feel like a cold and that's about it.

Once the true numbers start coming in, we will find that it's no more deadly than the Flu...

Tell that to the Italians. I have friends in Italy and there’s about 300-400 deaths every day.

Italy has a problem... They have a much higher concentration of elderly citizens, a very taxed socialized medical system, and they were late to lock down their borders, allowing thousands of people from Wuhan to enter the country...

Influenza kills 250k people a year on a GOOD year. On a bad year its over half a million people...

I am not saying that this isn't a problem. It absolutely is. I just don't think that it's time to freak out, hoard all the supplies and arm ourselves to the teeth and plan for war with our neighbors...

I agree on the Italy issue but our great president called it a flu and downplayed it until about 2 weeks ago. As much great stuff he did this thing he dropped a ball on.

That must be why the Democrats that hate him, like the governor of CA, NY and people like Ilhan Omar are praising Trump for his leadership and doing all the things that he needs to be doing.

I also recall him closing travel to China way before anyone else here thought to... so early that the same Democrats now praising him, were at that time accusing him of being a racist for closing down travel so early...

I guess that's dropping the ball...

Hi all - this is not a joke.

My spouse is an emergency medicine physician working in the Emory Dekalb and Piedmont systems. The hospitals are running out of N95 masks for doctors, and everyone is being asked to get any protective gear from any source.

DO YOU HAVE ANY MASKS YOU CAN SELL or GIVE or DONATE or WHATEVER?

We will buy masks. Also, please consider donating masks to your local hospitals.
