So the whole point of this is to survive 21 days, naked, and with no tools. So what are we trying to prove? Name for me a scenario where I find myself in said situation. No boots, no keys, nothing in my pockets, no clothing?

I have no doubt I could do it if I had to. I am not up for doing it just to be on tv. The first thing I'd do is beat up the camera crew and put some f'ing shoes on my feet.
