My old stomping grounds, spent 5 months training there in 86.
I and two of my friends went last year. Very good museum. I spent 3 hours in there and my feet were absolutely aching by the time I got out & back into the car.
I found it quite moving how all of the museum's mannequins' faces were based off real U.S. soldiers. Even better when it is a direct portrayal in this case, looks like. It really added a unique sense of realism to the displays knowing that it wasn't some ambiguous cookie cutter body wearing the uniforms.
My wife actually pointed that out to me saying how realistic some of the mannequins looked. Especially one group huddled together where you could see the sweat on the hands and forearms.

Went decades ago when my younger brother graduated basic/AIT. It is an awesome museum. Spent 3 hrs in there and my wife was extremely pregnant, and extremely mad! (at me 
). The young "joe" on duty kept coming out and telling me to quiet down.....I was excited like a child. (child's mind)
A buddy's son from church just graduated from Benning. I told him to go to the museum. He and his wife did and they loved it.

Oh yeah, they also had a grilling area free to the public with seating too!
