Ive been looking at a new safe for a while and cant find that many locally. I am looking for a 24-36 safe with an actual dial lock and not electronic. Has anyone seen anything like this within a two hour drive of Gwinnett?

Just remember buying a safe is like buying a pool table.

There's the cost of the item itself and then the cost of transportation/setup. Which can cost as much as the safe. Budget accordingly.

For the price don't expect much safe or fire protection. I would get a used one get more for your money.

Calculate the value of the items you will put in the safe, then take 20-30 percent of That value. Then see what used safes are in that range.

If you just need something to keep the kids out convert an old fridge or build your own.

I'm not a gun collector so I don't need a 5000 safe. But it seems like lot of people online who are fun collectors will have 20k in stuff in a 800 big box safe don't even seem like a good idea lol. Now if you have a high point and a 10/22 then yes having an 800 safe makes sense.

Also remember anything important like legal documents(paper, media) that need to be kept will be burned up in a house fire,so best to keep them at the bank.

A lot of safes are up 20 plus percentage points due to cost of materials.
