Aww come on Lettuce, just sign over your stimulus ck
plus a couple of C notes. ;)
Something like the hardbody probably be better for a
newbie driver instead of a 'nice' truck. Teens have to
make it through that learning curve and in the process
frequently cause some damage of their own. If they want
to fuss about driving a clunker they can take the bus. :P

Too late for you; but I gave away a running 91 Ford Ranger XLT supercab 4.0l with 280k to someone that needed transportation. It was rough (great for learning on), but cranked and drove fine. Let's just say factory paint was optional (what hadn't pealed off) and son had spilt a 5 gal pail of something white in the bed. Insurance was more than the truck was worth.

Funny you mentioned new drivers. My stone has been driving since about 2012 and I'm ordering a new front bumper cover and grille for his poor old 06 Camry today. Then I gotta ride to a salvage 3in Forsyth to get a hood in the same dark grey. He's hell on a car.
