Need beginner x-bow advice

I found an Excalibur on here last year. Bought it for my Daughter to use. She is 6 and can hit a bottle cap with it at 20 yards. Got a really good deal on it. I really like it because of the simplicity. No cams, no cables, just a single string from limb to limb.
If you are ever in Villa Rica come by and shoot ours before you buy one.

Thanks for the offer. Thats very kind of you. That leads me to another question. Why do some of the cams on the ends and some dont? Whats the difference? Do the cams make it easier to draw the string back?

The cam is used to create force to propel the bolt/arrow.
Ones without cams/wheels (recurve limbs) only use the limbs to generate force. They are simple to use/maintain. No pro shop or bow press needed to change the string on the recurves. There is a re-stringer that you can buy for less than $20.
I forgot to mention that many crossbow manufacturers also offer a cocking crank that mounts to the stock. Hook it to the string and turn the crank handle. It pulls the string back for you and it can even be used to let it down if you choose not to shoot it.
