Cliff ypu are awesome. Now I need someone to install. Tricky lil part . I tried every pull a part in ga ala tenn and so car, no one has one. If I could find the hinged step its two bolts and done. Thanks again guys. Im gettin closer.

Install? The plastic piece you just line up the pins and give it a firm bump with the side of your fist. Call AC's Used Truck Parts and McDonough Used Auto Parts.

So bad news. The tailgate retails for $3,078. The Step with cover is $1,200 and the tailgate used is $1,600. You are definitely going to want to order just the plastic cover.

Epoxy or some other adhesive? They can be life savers if the original part is cosmetically sound.

You could also possibly fabricate a replacement part yourself with a little help from the guys here.
