Hey everyone, I have been trying to find out more about the rifle such as exactly what kind it is. I know that it is a 8mm Mauser. Hopefully the pictures of the gun can help someone give me more information about it. Thank you for your time.

Mauser of some vintage for sure, not a Turk, may be a Russian capture 98. Double floor plate screws are somewhat particular with Czech and k98.
3 lock lug bolt. Czech would most likely by marked as such. Mine is a V24 BRNO short. Bent bolt is decidedly after market. Any extra ammo? I'm down to 65 rounds

If it is Croatian, it would be a yugo 48, virtually identical to a 98 but with a slightly different bolt. Look at the bolt face. 98 has 2 solid lugs, yugo and Czech have 2 lugs but 1 is split in 2 . You are lucky to have the little floor plate locking screws, most are missing and were eliminated in late war issue Mausers.

It appears to be a Yugoslavian Mauser, hard to tell from your pics and the aftermarket stuff whether it is a 98, M48 or a M24/47. Hope that helps a little.

Thank you very much for all your help. I am just a young guy starting to look into guns and collecting them as well. I got this in a really good deal from my grandfather so that's why I don't know too much about it. So I appreciate all the input from everyone.

The bolt face has two lugs, one is whole and one is split. So then that proves that it is a yugo Mauser. And sorry I don't have any ammo at the moment since I just got the rifle.
