I clean all my AR-15's, and hanguns. But, my AK's just keep on shooting. Saiga .12g Shotguns should be lubricated since they have a tendency to dry out on you.

Ballistol is great if you can stand the smell. It has tons of uses as well. Cleans my guns, softens and protects my leather holsters, and works great on squeaks too.

A .22 rifle should be cleaned regularly. .22 ammo is extremely dirty and will foul your gun very quickly. As mentioned check the YouTube video and make sure gun is empty.
