I want to change the barrel in one of my ar's to a 18" 1 in 9 twist to be dedicated to light varmint rounds and want 1 moa results. Which manufacturer do you recommend? This is just a target gun for practice but I still want moa or better.

Best of luck. They’re almost impossible to find from any reputable manufacturer.
It’s either 1:7 or 1:8 for the heavy bullets or a 1:12 for the light weight stuff

I went down this road earlier this year and gave up. I didn’t want to spend $700 on a custom barrel.
I shot 53gr vmax on a PD hunting trip with a 1:7 and was able to make hits out past 300 yards with it.
