Need load data for missiouri 240 gr cast blackout bullets

I have looked pretty good but can't find any clear data. I would suggest you contact Accurate Arms for current data and if it includes 220-245 cast load data. Others as well may have data.

You can post on the 300 BLK out specific websites. http://www.300blktalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=141&t=80066

This is where handloading origins began, crossing into unfamiliar territory, literally "blazing" new trails. Handloaders pushing boundaries, experimenting, failing and succeeding. I'm not one to be told it can't be done for if accepted it won't.

There are folks loading this but be careful when using someone else's loadings. What is safe in their gun may not in yours. Pushing heavy bullets puts additional stress on gun and brass. Faster powders will become more of a liability and slower will fill the case more, leading to potentially a compressed charge, dependent on bullet depth, several variables which can lead to catastrophic failure.

Compare data with the heaviest cast bullet published in decent professional manuals, start slightly under lowest starting load, check your brass/primer for signs excess pressure, chronograph loads, keep good records with the lot # of the powder/primers.

Hodgdon has limited data (max loads with CUP pressures) for 220-230 grain loadings. One could use that as a reference but would incur risk if experimenting with reduced loadings with heavier than listed bullet weights. http://data.hodgdon.com/cartridge_load.asp

Are you looking for sub sonic I have loaded and cronoed some using data from the 300 blkout site but all the loads I worked up are sub sonic and every gun will be a little different. There is a thread on there I got my info from

Yes I am trying to load sub ammo. I have a carbine length gas on a 16 inch barrel. It will feed the Remington 220 gr factory stuff, just not lock the bolt back. I can not get my hands on any A1680, I can not get any loads cycling of any grain bullet with H110 below 1,100fps. I can get them ejecting but not feed the next round.

This is all good and sound info and advise , but as this link below indicates there is not much solid data available. I could not resist ordering 500rds of the 240grain cast bullets because they were less expensive than the 200 rounds of Speer 220 grain I had just purchased.
