Hi folks. I recently came across this rifle and I am looking for some additional information and a ballpark value. I'd appreciate any help.

The rifle is a 270 and appears to be built off of a mauser action. The barrel is more dense than most 270s and has a very deep blueing. I believe the wood is tiger stripe walnut, but I'm not sure, The scope is a old Weaver model. It is stamped "WF Vickery, Boise Idaho" The internet led me to learn who Vickery was. Impressive fellow. I was able to deduce from a few searches that it was likely created as a durable gun to be used in the field rather than a safe queen.

Do any of you know how many might have been made, what the perception of the gun is and what it's value might be?
