Need some help

Check out the RM380. I was really impressed of the accuracy for a pocket pistol! It is hands down my favorite pocket pistol I have ever shot.

Only complaint is how it breaks down.

While technique is important if one has problems racking a slide, a 15 pound recoil spring is a 15 pound recoil spring and takes that much force to over come it.
now how well the parts are finished, what type of recoil spring may make the process easier, as does a striker vs hammer fired weapon, and we can even get into type of firing pin retainer if we want to get deep into the woods and even hammer/main spring weights.
the more parts that one has to move to cock a weapon the harder it generally is.
but technique doesn't reduce the poundage of a recoil spring or other associated springs that need to be overcome, leverage simply makes it easier to do the job.

Ok so i forgot about the taurus ive heard from people ita a pawn shop gun and fails most the time so. I went amd got the s&w m&p bodyguard 380 (bought the last 2) and she likes the fill and slide on the gun. She said the sl I de is smoother and easier rhen rhe taurus. So now my question is this is her first gun that ive got for her. Shes always carried or fired mine. So i want to get something special engraved on it and need some advice on that

I watched a middle aged lady struggle with a bodyguard and a airweight 442 at the range yesterday. The heavy double action pull gave her trouble, she couldn't consistently hit a pie plate at 7 yards.

I heard her telling her dad that she might carry it in her purse but it was mostly for the house.

I had to explain that 380 isn't soft in a 6oz pistol and if she was buying for her home, she should get a big, heavy gun. I let her shoot a G19 and CZ75 back to back to demonstrate the bigger the gun got, the more pleasant it was to shoot. The bad thing was, a 1/2 hour of shooting a mouse gun left her with a terrible flinch that would probably take a full range session to correct.

My pet peeve in the gun world is idiots that recommend little guns to little women.

I agree I bought this gun for my wife and I hate the trigger!! I wish we would have gone with the Shield or XDS. The last time I buy a gun before shooting one first.

After letting my wife pick out a gun based on how it felt in the hand, and countless other new shooters in the same situation, I'm a firm believer in telling a new shooter what they need.
