How hard is the dirt?
I’m from ga but I was asking because a lot of places have a ton of backfill dirt that is not very hard at all.
Not terrible. It's away from the trees, so no roots to deal with. I dug a bunch of my fence post holes by hand when I was able. Not great, not terrible. A gas powered auger would name pretty quick work of it, for the most part.
