Need Some Honest Opinions on Truck Rims

Ok here is the short story. I need one rim for my 2015 Chevy Silverado. The local Chevy dealer wants $250.00 plus tax for a crappy OEM Steel Rim. I am seeing Aluminum rims on line from half that to about the same price.

So i am considering buying a set and getting rid of the OEM steel rims.

Any recommendations on manufacturers to avoid. Not looking for anything over the top fancy. Just some functional stylish rims.

Check your local GM dealer. The one in Canton always has 4 - 5 sets of takeoffs for sale at the parts counter.

I bought a set of factory take-offs from a guy on Facebook for my ram. $100 for a set of four. You can find factory wheels being sold privately all over the place

Buy cheap rim from parts store or junkyard. Take truck to West Atlanta. Park truck watch the guy take off your wheels and then stop them as they run away. Claim truck wheels were taken and insurance has to buy you new rims..

Just kidding. I do not advocate insurance fraud but I digress.
