True story
Worked at a Fiat-Mazda dealer in Oakwood
for awhile about 1979. Some rich guy from
Chicago bought a building at auction and
decided to open a dealership. I had high
hopes but soon became obvious it was
a real mickey mouse operation with no
affiliation w/Walt Disney. Customer wanted
a yellow Fiat 124 spider which was not
offered from Fiat. Dealer says no problem,
sends a white one to local body shop for
light yellow paint job. Has blue interior.
Gets back, goes onto showroom floor
so new owner can drive it out. Under hood,
inside trunk lid and door jambs all still white.
Yes sir, we'se in the multi-billion dollar car
selling bidniss now!
