As a child of the 60's and a avid (rabid?) space nut, NA was my hero. When I was a boy my dad gave me a limited lithograph of a sketch with him in his suit (sans helmet) with the artist and NA's signature. I still have it and will keep it.

One of the last true American heroes and statesmen. I think my favorite quote from him is "I am, and ever will be, a white-socks, pocket-protector, nerdy engineer." In truth, for a man with such amazing steel testicles, he really wasn't very full of himself. If I had walked on the moon, my swollen cranium probably wouldn't have fit back into the re-entry module.
