Never, And I mean NEVER!, take the wife fishing

About 35 years ago a preacher and his wife went fishin in a farm pond in Twin City. He wasnt fishin, he had his .22 shootin turtles while she fished. He had his back to her. She made a cast and the hook got his cheek. It jerked him around and he inadverntly pulled the trigger on his .22, hit his wife in the back of the head! Yes, it killed her! TRUE STORY

On a brighter note...my wife has been my fishing partner for 20 years now. Have had a few close calls but havnt been "caught" yet. Course I did get a 18' boat to keep enough distance between us lol

I caught a hook in the back of my head from my father fishing one day. When he finally stopped messing with it and we got back to fishing all was good till the ER trip. First time i have ever been laughed at in the ER for what I was in for. I feel for that guy though, I hurt just thinking about it.
