New 357 mag round?

I wonder what barrel length they used for those numbers? That would be a nice round for Ruger 77/357.
If they used a 4" or 6" test Bbl. the velocity from an 18" Bbl should be crazy fast.

Federal Hammerdown has a load that was a little heavier and a little faster that was designed for lever action rifles I believe. It's pretty stout.

I assume that given this bullet weight driven at that high velocity, the data came from a rifle or carbine length barrel, correct?
Not a revolver?

It’s marketed as a handgun round but but im not sure how they measure velocity

Used to be a deer stopper at that velocity. I imagine Buffalo Bore is there too

Yea, but it's still a 357. Not bad, but it ain't a 44mag.
