Perhaps you used a different model than I had, or maybe you don't call this a "striker" ... but my point is that it's not a typical hammer like you would use on the P229 or P226.
In addition, the article featuring these photos also calls it a striker.

The Taurus 92 clones are fine guns, actually were made on Beretta equipment at the beginning. I have 2 of them and they are perfect and many like the frame mounted safety better...

It has a hammer and a firing pin it is a hammer fired, not striker fired gun. Glock, m&p, fn fns, xd, xdm, walther p99 and ppq. All these are striker fired.
Beretta 92, CZ, 1911, Every HK (except VP70), FN FNP, FNX, These are hammer fired guns.
Why would a striker fired gun have a hammer? Its just silly.
By your definition a SW640 is a striker fired gun...
