Welcome! I've been a "gun guy" my entire life and thought I knew quite a bit. After a few weeks here reading the forums it seems there is more practical and useful firearms information that I can add to my knowledge base. I've found myself reading threads and saying "Wow, I never knew that" fairly often. Enjoy the site!

Welcome and enjoy the site. The best way to learn the most about a weapon is to handle it, and shoot it your self. There are plenty of guys on here that go to the range my self included that would be willing to take you out and shoot some different guns. I missed the last shoot with some of the guys in my area but am looking forward to the next one.
Well whow Daniel, already three pages of welcomes. From me too, welcome, now jump in and start asking , whats on your mind? As for openions-I think every man needs at least five guns. .22 rifle, pump shotgun, Deer rifle, [of your choice,] revolver and semi-auto handgun.
