New Bass Pro Shops Store

I for one am excited that there is a new Bass Pro Shops Store due to open in 2014. Press release says it is to be near Red Top Mountain in Emerson Georgia. That's between Cartersville and Lake Alatona. The one in Lawrenceville is just too far for me to go. When I lived in Florida I had a Gander, Cabelas and a Bas Pro Shops all within short driving distance. It was a tie between Gander and Bass Pro for my dollar. When people would come visit I would them them to Bass Pro for lunch because the restaurant was so good. Would see a lot of tourists there dropping a lot of coin there too. Can't wait!

Bass Pro is over priced in my opinion, may be good for fishing (hint's the name bass pro), but for gun related stuff they make me angry. I got $400 in points, but I never spend them because I can always find the stuff cheaper other places.

Well it's about time. I had a BPS gift card I gave away on here because there wasn't one anywhere near me and all of the ammo I wanted was in store purchase only.

I was just in bass pro off sugar loaf this weekend and thought... man it would be cool to have one closer to the kennesaw area.

Yes, that is a feature of every BassPro store.

Last I read it will be off exit 283 (Emerson) by the Loves truck stop.

Being on the west side of the lake, it works if you're on or close by I-75. From Woodstock/N. Fulton, it sucks. Closer to Ga 20 in Cartersville or 92 in Acworth would be more convenient. Oh well.
