I have a couple of good leads. Good companies. 5 days out 2 days back , One of them is 7 out 4 back . Seems like you need 6months to a year to really get going in the industry. Which is fine.

If you're ok with driving in neighborhoods and unloading with a diesel forklift the company I work for might be hiring at our Marietta branch. They don't always have the positions posted online. Decent pay, great benefits, and they always try to hire veterans more than just Joe blow off the street. ABC Supply.

A friend of mine is planning to do that when he retires. It seems to pay pretty good but a good bit of overhead just on insurance.

No problem. Its a M-F gig. Weekends and holidays off. Pay starting out as a driver is around $22-$25 hour at most branches. The branch manager either just retired or is retiring soon. I'm friends with their Distribution Manager, I'll shoot him a message and see if they have anything open. We also have branches in Cartersville and Smyrna on that side of town.

Trust me, the money isn’t there in that. What I pay to get a 20’ container from the port is less than $1000
