The sight is now up on the Vortex website. The MSRP is higher than I was expecting, but it might be good for someone looking for an Eotech replacement. http://www.vortexoptics.com/product/razor_amg_uh-1_red_dot
Yeah. That's a whole lot more than I was expecting.
Vortex posted the battery specs (below) on another forum. I've seen a few pre-order links with coupons where this sight is going for around $450. So based on the features and the price, this is looking like a nice alternative to Eotech.
Battery specs: "Using a 1500mAh CR123A the battery life is approximately 1500hrs. The rechargeable LFP123A batteries are lower capacity (600mAH), so battery life will be shorter. Approximately 600 hours."

I believe I will wait and let others try it out, and for the price to come down.

I would think the street price is $500 or below. Sounds promising to me.
