New hunter, lookin for hunting buddie(s)

I’ve never gone out there to hunt but wouldn’t mind giving it a shot. Shoot me a message I’m always open to go hunt with good guys. Personally I’ve always had more success by myself. However hunting with a couple budies can be a whole lot of fun!

I agree with checking out The Hunting Public YouTube channel. Those guys are great. Check out some of their scouting tutorials and looking at contour maps to identify saddles and funnels.

I've never hunted the ONF but would be open to it. I come through Jackson on the way to Lake Sinclair and have thought about bow hunting Cedar Creek WMA. ONF wouldn't be far out of the way though. Hit me up, I'm always open to talking hunting.

I love to hear it when someone shows a little more than interest in hunting. Deer hunting is mostly a solo sport , with some exceptions. I have so many memories of hunting trips with friends and family. So many great adventures with my best friends. Some are no longer with us. Im getting where my adventures are on a much smaller scale. I cherish these memories. The stories never end. Keep talking to folks, thats how I got some of my best hunting buddies. The deer is the easy part. They are way more predictable lol

That’s a fact! 2-3 years ago I received a text just at day break and it was on vibrate. I pulled it out of my pocket to peak, soon as screen lit up I heard something busting thru woods. I thrrough up my binos in time to see ass and horns! Vowed to never touch my phone again before daylight and try to refrain all together.

Sure man! I get that hunting can be mostly a solo thing as a gentleman said below your post but I thought it would be cool to hang out with some guys one weekend. Like go camping the whole weekend and chill and go hunting and talk about tactics and stuff

Lol I've no doubt your prolly right. I got in my stand rather late and figured my chances at seeing one was slim anyway, but I'll certainly keep that in mind thanks!
