We had a six-footer in one of the ponds a couple of years ago. One neighbor lady saw him crack open a turtle, another saw him grab an egret that was wading behind her house. Gator trapper "relocated" it.

This little guy just showed up today. Around 2 1/2 to 3 feet snout to tip of tail.
