Thank God I have my own range and can shoot 24/7 for free. The owner is a real prick but I have put up with him for years.

I just walked out of there. Big "under new management" flags flying at the entrance. The shelves look like the bread aisle at Kroger after a snowstorm. Bare. Handgun cases are nearly empty, with most of the items still being overpriced. Most of the stuff in the cases belong in a pawnshop. Rifle racks were similarly empty. A shop with this much potential should have a good good selection of duty grade handguns and rifles.New management and some new employees. May be worth checking out again. I didn't deal with any employees personally, but the interactions I observed between my folks and theirs looked very friendly. Whenever I walked past an employee they smiled and greeted me.
We policed up all our brass and took it with us, but I don't know if that's a deal we have worked out with them or not. You'd have to check.
I thought their firearms prices were high before the change in management. I haven't looked at the prices since then, I'll have to see what they're like after they restock.

They did have a GSSF shoot going on though. Hopefully, their historically high prices will come down out of the stratosphere. And they need to discount for shared lanes. I'll definitely give them another chance once they get some inventory in stock. They are so close to my house, that it kills me to have to go elsewhere.
Same here. I normally hate indoor ranges because of the persussion from the guy next to you but thats range is big enough it shouldnt be too bad. And its 5 mins feom the house. Beats driving all the way to charlie elliot for a quick shoot. They are so close to my house, that it kills me to have to go elsewhere.
It seems like several of us live really close by. Maybe we should have an informal range day?Same here. That is usually pretty funny!I usually shoot at my brothers house in Senoia but I might be interested in a range day as well. I also live just minutes away.
It's always nice to see how wrong you are about how you think a person looks judging by how they carry themselves on here.
Oh, I also overhead a neckbeard ponytailed employee retelling his war stories to two customers. Not actual war stories, but stories of all the different times he has drawn his weapon and pointed it at people to discourage whatever behavior he deemed a threat. Most of these tall tales were set right here in McDonough. I've lived here for 15 years. And have occasionally had to inspect properties in some pretty shady neighborhoods. Not once, have I ever come close to needing to draw my weapon, much less multiple times as this guy described.
That kind of crap drives me nuts.
