What I guess I'm not getting is which products are being offered are actually cryohardened.
I know a bit about metal engineering, and it strikes me that a barrel (for example) that has been manufactured using that technology could deliver really superior performance.
I understand that the exact process used would be HIGHLY proprietary and secret, but a general explanation of the process and the products that have been subjected to it would be great for the less-informed ODT members.
I’ve owned several cryo’ed barrels over the years, and sent at least one in to be cryo’ed (think the company was 300 Below).
I think I first came across the process in the late 90’s, but I have no idea how long it had been around.
They all shot very well……as did my barrels that weren’t cryo’ed.
