New rifle suggestions

Dude!!! I'm looking between a thousand and 1500 and you put out a $3,900 rifle on me! 🤣🤣 You got to cut down on that price a little bit bubba!

What are you guys think about the t3x super varmint from Tikka. It has a heavy barrel and comes in 6.5 PRC for $1,699. I'm really not familiar with the Tikka rifles but a lot of you had suggested them. Are they good accurate rifles?

I really like the Tikka T3X Super Varmint. I don't care for the really thin barrels on the lite barrel jobs but this one tickles my fancy and a few other places as well. 🤣🤣🤣

From what I recall Tikka is Sako's economy brand. Every one I've shot is a tack driver, even the lite models. The actions the same just not quite as refined with cheaper stocks.

I had a T1x, so not quite the same, but it was very impressive for what it was and I regret selling it. I can’t imagine the t3x would be any different. There is an aftermarket or there for them, it’s growing but not to the level of the 700’s.

From a classic wood stocked sporter to a chassis rifle. I ain't even surprised.

Tikka > Bergara. I would also look at Sauer. Actually, I'd find an old Honda 4wheeler and not worry about how much my rifle weighed cos I'd tote it by 4wheeler.

I am in that frame of mind right now I just don't know what I want. I love wooden stocks and my buddy has a M77 in 25-06 that is extremely accurate. His brother has a Bergara that shoots amazingly accurate. That why I pondered the wooden stock but the precision stock the B-14 HMR has is cool. As well as the Tikka T3X Ace Game model. I am just taking some time to make sure I am getting something I won't regret buying down the road. I am leaning toward the Bergara for price and quality. The wooden stock was just a fleeting thought . Whatever I get I want accuracy and versatility. I don't want to rush out and buy right away and then see something I missed the first go around. Ya dig my friend?

I'm going to call bergara on Monday and inquire about a gun made to order. I'd like to get the b14 HMR model with the 22 inch barrel instead of a 24 inch barrel and have the barrel fluted. It would cut down on the weight a little and I would have a little more maneuverability with the shorter Barrel and I wouldn't lose that much velocity. But I'm sure that'll probably cost a million dollars to do. They do have a custom shop but I'm just wondering how much they would charge to do something like that.
