There's also Pickens County Sportsmans' Club up the 575 in Talking Rock, although membership works out about the same as River Bend.

Both are really "buy once, cry once" deals because what you end up with is a set of facilities that a public range can't compete with from a safety and convenience point of view.

I was spending way more than the $300 annual fee taking all my kids to local indoor ranges. The initiation fee does hurt at first. The addition of skeet and sporting clay plus the ability to shoot steel plates and hundreds of yards vs tens of feet made it worth it for me.
