Nope, no threads. All rings are butted up (no gaps)

I believe one of the knurled rings (on the eyepiece end of the scope) locks the focus. I ran into this problem once on a scope I got in a trade on here. I don`t remember what brand scope. I trimmed some gorilla tape to be same width as the knurled rings, and put it on a knurl, one at a time. I got out the channel locks, put ithem on the taped knurl, and rotated the knurl. It took two of us to break it loose. The cross hairs jumped high and wide and would not refocus. I had traded for a rifle that had the scope touching the barrel, and I didn`t catch it. Being as I was going to hog hunt that night, and was in another state, I had to run to town and buy a new scope, mount it, and sight it in. That was one tight lock ring on that scope. Welcome to the Trader. You might trash your scope doing what I did, but you gotta do something.

“Something” will be done and that has been on my mind that I might break it. I put a little Marvel Lubricating Oil on the seams was using a thick rag to cushion the bite from Channel Locks. Thanks for your response, enjoy the day !

Looks like the screw on the focus ring has had a screw driver on it once or twice. Have you tried loosing it to see if it makes any difference?

Actually there are 3 tiny screws on the eye piece close to the focus section. Screwdrivers I've tried are so small I wasn't able to get any real torque on it. Another fella on here told me not to touch any screws. Thanks for responding. Enjoy your Sunday !

Welcome Sir. I pulled my Mark 5 out of the safe just to see. My scope is the Weatherby Supreme (not sure how it compares to Premier) The focus is at the very back on it and turns several times moving roughly 1/2 inch until it hits a hard stop. Hope this helps.
On a side note I just realized mine is locked on 3x so it appears I may have a problem!
