Like the title says I moved back to GA from PA after 12 long years. I was away too long and it's good to be back home with my family.
I moved to PA with the wife and kids to be closer to her family, but she is now the ex-wife and the kids are grown and the company I worked for was bought out and then shut down by a competitor so there was no reason to stay up North.
I grew up in Union City, a long time ago, but now live over in Clayton County. I'm looking forward to hunting again; my ex was anti-gun and anti-hunting so I didn't get to teach my son to shoot until after the divorce. He decided to stay in PA because he lived there most of his life. I would like for him to be here with me but he is almost 17 and I have accepted that he has to make his own decisions and mistakes.
I am also looking for a recommendation for a basic carbine class in the area. I rediscovered ARs and built my first lower last night (Daniel Defense LPK in a Palmetto State receiver).
