Well... that would have sucked.

Verbatim my first thought when I realized what it was. The little guy...or gal was reasonably safe though. I wait on groundhogs to stand up...not sure why, but I like popping head shots on them while they are standing. The silhouette would have never looked right.

Nice pics. Had a spotted one run through the back yard last week. I go out at night sometimes with a light and see 7 or 8 grazing or just resting in the back yard.
