Nice young family relocating to the Marietta area to get a fresh start on life. We are looking for about an acre of undeveloped/partially developed land to build a small home on. Family is simplifying and downsizing to get debt under control and help dad go back to school to become a doctor (Life University). Also interested in subletting a portion of a larger property from a landowner in some "win-win" exchange. Looking to stay put for 5-7 years and leave the property in far better shape than we found it. Family is from Colorado/Idaho and experienced with homesteading.

I'm not sure there's much wilderness left in Marietta, up here in Lula there's plenty.

Yea, it's not much of a country side anymore. Any undeveloped land is being bought up for gated communities.
