No CCW No Deal

Whenever I schedule a meet, I let local law enforcement know and have them meet with us as a sort of third wheel.
I also like to have them run the serial number on the gun and also the buyer or sellers driver license.

You can never be too safe these days. Too many counterfeit CCWs going around

I think you're going to find less and less folks having a concealed carry permit with Constitutional carry in place in Georgia. They will stop going through the hoops to renew it unless they frequently purchase from dealers, in which case it makes more sense to maintain it in order to expedite the purchase process.

I also keep mine for traveling through other states with reciprocity.

He does have that stipulation on his ads. IF I see an item I want...and the seller states "need to see a ccw" I bring it. I def don't bring a picture...

That being said...i've done probably 20-25 deals where the seller/trader stated they wanted to see a CCW...maybe 3 people asked for it at the meet. I think it is usually a "weed out the ****bags" type thing.

One dude wanted a picture of my ccw...I said "we can both walk away, or we can do the deal, but no pics of my personal info."

we did the deal.

I have used a recent NFA tax stamp to alleviate their worries before since i do not have a CCW anymore since GA doesn't require it for concealed carry and I don't buy enough guns from a dealer to warrant getting one....

In Summery.


Test 1: With loaded mag, empty chamber, safety off and port ejection side up, we will bury both weapons, retireve them, pop open dust covers, shake rifle well and check to make sure the bore is clear with cleaning rod then firing.
Results: AK No Failures, AR No Failures

I usually ask for a piss, hair, and semen sample when selling anything gun related. Can’t be too careful these days.
