would it be out of line to ask a person that has zero.low feedback or a bunch of negs to send you a deposit before you meet.
its not just the newbies that will bail on a meet.
i guess this would only apply if you were selling.

It's not unreasonable. Everything is negotiable. But I can tell you, I won't. But once a deal is made, I'm on the road to make it happen when seller wants. Of course it has to be reasonably safe. I've had no problems as of yet. But I try to be very careful who I deal with
