Great place to fish, with or without a boat. This is a picture of one last weekend. We caught about 20 this size.

Where is fpa located in rome. Do you have to pay to fish there

look up Rocky Mountain Project. It is off of Hwy 27 between Rome and Summerville. It costs $5 to park. Great place to fish, camp and picnic. Usually no crowds and no jet skis if you are fishing

That's a great place to fish. I've caught a lot of Crappie out of Antioch Lake. Every one in a while a catfish would come up and grab my minnow.
Heath Lake is a Great Lake for crappie too, but I've always focused on bass fishing it when it's open.

Weiss lake on the Ga/AL line is an awesome crappie lake.
